Ebbet's Field
Founded in 1988, Seattle-based Ebbets Field (named for the Brooklyn Dodgers’ home stadium) sees itself as an archivist and historian, not a brand. Creating authentic reproductions of baseball jerseys and hats (of non-Major League teams, especially), Ebbets Field uses baseball cards and hall of fame visits to ensure accuracy and explore how uniforms have changed over time. Built from 1950s-era wool cloth, Ebbets Field jerseys are handcrafted and American-made, recreating uniforms with identical wool flannel fabric, lettering, patches, and trim. Their caps, too, are made from special wool broadcloth and feature the shorter, rounder visors of early 20th century baseball hats.
