These are G-Shock's 16 coolest limited editions of all time

Since the launch of the G-Shock DW-5000 back in 1983, Casio has put out 271 different styles of its famously durable timepiece, but its collaboration/limited edition releases — kicked off with Stüssy in 1997 —are where the brand's design magic really shines. From Japanese soccer teams to Ke$ha (!), G-Shock has collaborated with damn near everyone, so we culled through its archives watch-by-watch to find these 16 badass examples.

TRAINERSPOTTING

Men's File x G-Shock GW-3000BB Leatherback
Release date: 2012

HYPEBEAST

Garbstore x G-Shock GA-150
Release date: 2012
Birthplace: UK
How much it's gonna cost you: $130
Talking points: The stock all-white G made its splash on MTV's The Jersey Shore (Ronnie was a big fan). But this Japanese specialty iteration has subtle features that would blow Ron's mind, including inscriptions ("The Rules of Hiking Once More", "Tenderfoot & Second Class"), and a green checkered pattern.
